Bath Time

Hello, Victoria from sfgirlbybay here again! I'm guest posting again here at dotcomsformoms and this time sharing some ideas to spruce up the family bathroom. Families, big and small often need to share a common bathroom, so probably the best way to do that is to keep it clean and organized. Fresh and colorful decor may wake up the sleepy little ones a bit too, get them moving in and out, and keep the sharing to a minimal and more civilized morning frenzy.

I think this bathroom by interior designer Anna Beth Chao is one of the prettiest and perkiest I've seen in a while. You should go look at her before pictures, if you have any doubt! Using Polaroids or kids artwork as art is fun, effective and totally affordable.

I love the idea of seaside themed bathroom with pale sea foam green walls and seashell collections reminding you of more relaxing days, like this one from Lonny. It's almost like you've gone on vacation!!

Painting a bold color is low investment (not much wall space equals less paint), but high drama, like these red walls via Traditional Home; I think decorating with framed silhouettes of family members is a lovely idea and a tradition that can keep on growing, via Lonny; or how about painting the base of your claw foot tub a bright bold color, via House Beautiful? Lively black and white wallpaper looks clean and fresh, too especially with pops of pink, also via House Beautiful
