Get Your Cozy On
I am soooo ready for snuggle weather! I live in Los Angeles, so it takes a bit longer for our chilly weather to arrive - but when it does, I'm ready to cozy up with a thick blanket, a roaring fire, a good read (right now, I'm ensconced in Outlander, a recommendation from my friend, Silke), and a mug of strong coffee.
I've spent some time on Pinterest lately enjoying photos of cozy rooms filled with fur throws, fluffy pillows, flannels and knits, firewood, scented candles, burnished metals, and warm woods. These are the trademarks of a comforting and cuddle-worthy space.
Some of my favorite online sources for all the above are Terrain, Garnet Hill, Restoration Hardware, the UK-based Sparrow & Co, Crate and Barrel, and West Elm. For bargain throws and pillows, I love Urban Outfitters and World Market.
