Pinwheel Party Favors
Hi everyone! It's Estefi Machado, designer, photographer and DIY'er sharing a favorite DIY party project.
I've always been fascinated by pinwheels because of the color and movement. When I grew up I loved the simplicity and genius of this invention! With just a square piece of paper, you make four sections, four folds and the magic is made. Here is a tutorial on cutting out paper pinwheels.
In this mini version, I did exactly the same process, and secured the ends with a colored sewing pin. Then I stuck the pin in the cork bottle stopper, slightly bending the pin so it looks like a flower stem. And the filling could not be better: small colored chocolate candies!
It seems they were meant for each other! This is a great project to do with your kids and also a great option for party favors!
